Absolutely stunning fretless. It's hard not to feel sorry for the seller because I can't see any reason to sell that bass unless one absolutely was forced to due to hardship.

You don't need to feel sorry for me.  :D
I'm fine!

(I have two other Series II basses so I will probably be OK  ;))

If this is what you are letting go, can we see the ones you are keeping?  They must be incredible!

I am more of a 4 string guy. The other two aren't quite as flashy. More subdued.
Here is one of them. 1980 KOA Top and back S2.

"She's sixteen, she's beautiful and she's mine..."

Just arrived in sunny AZ from Colorado this am via FEDEX.

Can't wait to plug her in and become better acquainted!

Congratulations!!  That's a mighty pretty bass guitar you've got there!!
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

Thanks guys.

Thomastick flat wounds are on order and due to arrive next week. I really hope these strings will be "all that" for her because they ain't cheap and it'll be an expensive error if they don't make it.

But I'm pretty sure they will work because several years ago I played a Pedulla Buzz 5 and a Turner Renaissance fret less 5 that were both set up with Thomasticks and I liked the strings better than the instruments - !

Since the Alembic is far superior to either of them, these strings should work out nicely.
