Early Series I on Reverb
« on: December 06, 2017, 09:30:02 AM »
Interesting early Series I being sold by someone in Canada. Ambitious price and when asking that much it would be nice to provide better quality pictures. Still always cool to see the earliest examples of Alembic artistry.

Figured there might be a showcase thread. I was going to look before posting but spaced on it.... thanks for the link.

There was a time when I was seriously interested in a very close relative  (#73-39)... I laid awake nights, reading every Showcase Thread I could find on these early models. ::)

#73-44 is a missing serial number (though it may be the Tiran Porter bass) and #73-45 is a similar guitar that pops up on eBay every so often.

Hey, some people save stamps... I memorize Alembic minutiae.  ;D
