i just purchased a used Alembic Further model which i am very happy with, everything looks and sounds great with the exception of the OBEL.
am i to understand that the 4 batteries together are all just for the fret side marker lights if i unplug any of them it affects the lights.
That being said there is another lone battery in its own compartment which i did replace and did not correct the issue.
when i attempt to use the effects loop i get sound but no effects however if i pluck really hard i can hear a faint soft version of the effect.
i have another guitar with an OBEL and it works fine so that would eliminate the cord or junction box or pedals in the loop.
any help would be appreciated i am ok changing batteries and flipping switches but am not qualified to mess with the electronics
