Fleetwood-Mac's anchorman turns 72 today, and gearing up for another World Tour in Summer 2018, or so says the Rumour mill.
Wish we could get him to pull those old Alembics outta' retirement for one more trip around... shoot, I'll caddy for him!

I've been digging in to early McVie lately - his stuff with John Mayall's Blues Breakers is great - including a recently released "bootleg" of the band with McVie, Mick Fleetwood & Peter Green - recording quality not fantastic but good enough to enjoy!
I thought he was going to be taking the "continuously fretted" bass out on the road after sending it back to the Mothership for a checkup, but alas? Here it is hanging out with my doubleneck:

I bet those two old Dragons swapped a few stories while in there together.
I plugged in yesterday evening, and played through the entire
Bare Trees
album. Not just for John's birthday, but in rejoicing
