Well, it looks like Carvin has “closed their doors”, so keep that in mind if you go the power amp and F-2B route.

In a way the Carvin closure isn't surprising. There are a lot of products that compete in the instrument amplifier and audio areas with similar price  points. Since most of these are in the big box music stores where you can touch and play them I think they took away from what was Carvin's traditional market.

While it may not be surprising for the reasons Keith mentioned, it was still surprising to me when I opened the thread and read it just now.  Looks like they're having a liquidation sale.
