Tell Me About Zoom 3000B Effects Processor & RP01 Pedal
« on: July 21, 2017, 02:46:12 PM »
I just bought a full bass rig off of craigslist for my studio.  It was too good a deal to pass up:  F-1X, Crest CA4, Furman power conditioner, SKB 4U rack case, cables, Eden D410XLT cab, Zoom 3000B Effects Processor, and Zoom RP01 remote pedal, all for $500.    I know nothing about the Zoom units.  Are they any good?  What are they worth?

Nice score Bill! Can't help you with the Zoom unit, though.

Keep it all so that the next time I come out and jam, I can use it! Actually, I'm doing a weekend in NoCal in October and will need a bass cabinet....

Edwin, if you move it, you are welcome to use it, all 98 lbs. (and that's just the cab)!  At least I have a hand truck!  And if you, or any one else around here, are interested in the Zoom units, I'd certainly pass along a piece of the good deal.  The rest, of course, is staying in my studio.  I'll be cleaning up and selling the GK amp and 2x10" that the new rig replaces.

At least it's on castor wheels.  But anytime it leaves the studio, someone else will be doing the lifting!

I ditched my Eden 4x10 cabinet and am so happy to never have to move it again. Good sounding cabinet but unwieldy to move. My JBL single 15 weighs almost the same but is way easier for me to move by myself.

Heres a couple of zoom pedals with a stereo chapman NS stick. 4 strings through a Zoom B3 bass pedal and the other 4 strings through a G3 guitar pedal.  They sound great and are totally bullet proof.  They get busked almost daily, rained on, kicked about, dropped etc. Great kit.
