Adjust Futher Effects Loop Level
« on: June 21, 2017, 09:52:08 AM »
I'm finally at a point in life where I want to adjust the send level of the Further effects loop...or even just the general levels.  I purchased the Further about 11 years ago and forgot where things are in the electronics.

I've looked through the FAQ but there aren't any instructions on the adjustment pots in the Further electronics cavity.

Thanks much and have a Grateful day!

Found this post on Trim pots but no reference to the Further Electronics.  http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=222.0

I'm not going to go tweaking trim pots on the preamp until I know what's what.  Just need a little more push on the effects loop side of the chain.

Bueller?

There isn't a level adjust for the effects loop. The trimpots on the filters are for the gain of each pickup, and the trimpots on the switches are the amount of brightness for the bright position. If you have one on your LED switch, it's the dimmer for the LEDs.

The effects loop has a jumper you can change if the return comes pre or post the volume control.

Hit me up if you have any other questions.

If was me, I would use a volume pedal before processors chain...

I see.   That makes sense given the controls trim pots.  For some reason I equated the pickup gains with the Effects Loop Preamp.

Thanks much Mica and Mario for the advice!
