Case for Essence
« on: December 29, 2003, 07:30:20 PM »
Mica/Valentino, others,

I recently bought a 98 Essence, 4 string.  It came with a case that's too large to keep it from moving within the case.  Is the case for sale through Alembic molded to fit the Essence?  Is it rectangular?  Is there a picture available?  I don't mind spending what it takes to nicely protect this fine instrument, but are there other options for the small body Essence that fit very well?  Thanks!

There was a recent thread on cases: http://alembic.com/club/messages/393/7317.html?1072673746

You can order a custom fitted case from Alembic for $280 - http://www.alembic.com/prod/prices.html

This is rectangular and fits very snugly.

My preference for everyday use is the Gator deluxe molded case: http://www.gatorcases.com/sections/prdct/prdct-guitar.htm

Nothing flash but they are reasonably sturdy, are widely available and cheap enough that you don't need to worry about the case.

We offer a rectangular case, but inside it's form fit and plush lined. Make sure you specify it's for the 4-string version, as we make a different size for the 5- and 6-string Essences.
