I am convinced that there has been a significant shift in our reality.  Time has most certainly sped up at an alarming rate.  That is the only reasonable and logical explanation I can deduce to explain how the f*** I could be turning SIXTY-TWO today!!!!  SIXTY-TWO!  Heck, I remember when 62 seemed old, not the "just sort of entering middle age" that I have come to realize with my new-found wisdom.  At least things are starting off with a good omen: I jammed last night with a bass player I had never met before.  He walks in and pulls out an Epic!

Many happy returns Bill.  ;)

FWIW, I knew something was up with the space/time continuum, but just figured it was cyclical... lucky guess. ;D

Not a problem, caffeine will allow you to keep up with the shift.

Happy birthday, Bill!  Today is my second birthday this month; I turned 61 on the 1st, but on this date in '75, secondary to flying face-first through a car window into a brick wall, I flat-lined 4 times in 4 hours - so today makes 42 years of playing with the house's money.  Let's set something on fire to commemorate all the day encompasses, eh?

Hey Bill... Happy Birthday!

I am a few years ahead of you hurtling quickly toward 65 and, yes, it is surreal. When we were younger who could have predicted that strange part of the "long strange trip" was going to be so far in the future. The "never trust anyone over 30" concept sure did not last long.

Peter, yet another cosmic connection: on April 1, 1966, I went under the knife for "exploratory surgery" concerning a bump in my leg.  Six hours later they had removed a tumor, along with 85% of my calf muscle.  Back in those days, (though nobody told me about at the time), my parents had to wait a week for the lab report to find out whether or not it was malignant and I'd, at the minimum, be losing the leg.  Thankfully, it was benign and other than losing my speed running, and always wearing out my right heel first, I've had no further problems in that regard.  We should all strive to fully appreciate whatever we have while we're here.

You must be right. Cuz I swear it seems like only yesterday that you started working on Woody as a 50th birthday to yourself. Where does the time go indeed?

Happy Birthday Bill!  You're so young.

And Peter, Happy Second Birthday.  I guess the universe knew your presence was going to be needed at the Alembic board.
