DS-5 and cable

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on a short scale Series 1. Tried to negotiate for a little less than the asking price and seller showed a little bit of give ($300) but if I take him up on his offer, DS5 and cable will not be part of the deal. I've a rack mount Power unit already and a cable but wonder if I'm better off paying full price and including those items rather than taking a reduction of $300. The bass itself will probably go in for a refurbishing so I was basically trying to save a bit for that. The sellers price seems reasonable.

You would probably be hard pressed to find a DS-5 and cable for that price of $300.00

I found that the portability of the DS-5 quite handy when I did not want to take the rack mount DS-5R
out of the rack and along to a small or impromptu gig or jam.

IMHO I say go for it.

With the cable that sounds like a good deal. Doesn't sound like much of a savings if the bass is priced reasonably. I would definitely go for it, too.
