Keavin, I am confused.  What is it?

I have seen some spinning thingy on Instagram that makes me feel the same way (confused).

Lately I watch the news and feel like I am living in a George Orwell novel - now more things I don't understand.

oh - so it could be placed inside a musical instrument and act like an RF device for locating if (heaven forbid) the instrument was stolen.
