Beautiful bass! I'm very tempted but currently on the lookout for a small bodied Series I at the  moment.  Good luck with your sale.

I've heard it said, those electronics are the very next thing to a Series-equipped bass. I particularly like the added master volume and bass boost-cut switch.

I'd have to say, the Brown Basses appeal to me more than other Small Standard models do... the alternate wood lay-up, the retro pattern... I guess the throwback in me just loves that kind of thing.

Good luck with the sale. Sure wish I could provide this one with a home.  ;D

That's a beautiful bass, and a nice price too. I'm sure it will find a happy home soon.

The Brown Bass would be a short scale instrument with a scale length of 30.75 inches.

They remove the fingerboard and do the installation, which includes a switch, a new fingerboard and new frets. Not cheap but worth it.

What a great bass at a great price. Bass boost switch is a great idea. I've been spoiled by my Distillate and don't think I could live without that boost.

Gearhead289, with all of that walnut, the bass boost really sends it to the dark side!
