Mica;
I know I can get the picture to you this way. Sorry for whatever the mixup was yesterday (by the way, you work too hard and too long, but you probably already know that!) Thanks!

Got your email and you're right - it's hard to make out in the picture, but I think I can make it out.

I do want you to come by so we can check this out in person and get it repaired and also, to understand why it happened. From the photo, it looks above the area the strapholder attaches.

Ouch!
I've got some surgical scars I could show off....

The elves on the mothership will surely make this boo-boo better!

OK, Larry

We Rogue owners need to know HOW this happened. I would hate to think that it was mearly standard everyday use that would have caused this. Remember, we have a Spyder owner that is getting a new peghead because of his vocalist, so it's ok to share.

Ken;
It looked strong enough to drive just a few nails...
The only thing I can think of, is I had a loose straplock that I repaired by inserting a half toothpick and refastening. Was the separation the cause of the looseness, or the effect of the repair? I didn't notice anything at the time, and that was months ago. Naturally, I blame myself. I know the wizards can help me, though!

Larry,

As the owner of the Spyder mentioned above, I know the wizards will help you out (although I'm still waiting for my bass to come back so I don't know firsthand).  But...come on over to Mica's place.  She'll fix up your tea and crumpets quite nicely.  Will be worth the wait.
