Alembic Essence 5 in funk rock

Hi,

I was looking for a decent topic on the recordings of your Alembics or sound samples, but either I didn't find the proper one or have seen a couple of comments under a small thread.  Therefore if there's anything I should have used link it please and we can close this one.

I've been recording some funk music on my Essence 5 and would like to share with you guys Alembic freaks, should you have any comments feel free to do that. Link to the original track:

I just listened to the first one, diabel al.  Very nice.

We have discussed adding a section just for recordings and videos, but it's something we have yet to do.  Some members post recordings in the Gigs section (that's where mine are), and some post recordings here in the Misc. section.

Ah; what effects are you using?  Sounds good.

For the recording I used only G-lab Wowee Wah at times. The amp I used was some Trace Elliot combo,mic mixed with line in.

Igor - finally made it through all of them.  Sounds like you and your friends are having fun!  I wish I had someone to jam with like that.  What instruments are you playing?  Just bass or everything?

Thanx Stephen. Yes that's true having lots of fun with those guys. The first link is probably a list of tracks I am adding basses to, not mine unfortunately. The second link is taken from a studio recording we had with my funk rock band. If it comes to music playing I'm playing bass guitar only so the sounds you can here here and there are purely recorded on Alembic Essence 5 with zebrawood top and Musicman Stingray 5.
