From what I'm gathering this is a true emersion in sound. Right now at best there is surround sound, front , back, left, right. which is cool in its own right. But If I'm reading this right this will be like we experience everyday. Sounds coming from all the surround angles plus up down and in diagonal ways.
Picture walking in a trail and what all your auditory senses are picking up, from everywhere.
This is in its infancy and the operator was using sine waves (almost like Moog did with early synths)
He could barely operate the thing!
Right now it looks clumsy but I'm thinking in a short amount of time this is the real deal.
Just thinking what could be done with the Sargent Pepper album!
