I look at Alembics on eBay occasionally. I ignore all listing for Japan, as chances are they either a re listed two or three times by different sellers, or are being auctioned by sellers who do not have the instrument in their possession. It is for sale elsewhere and they figure if someone buys it, they will then buy it and then ship it to their 'new' customer. A bit too flaky for me. I'm simply not in the market anymore, so I simply look out of curiosity. I used to e-mail the sellers and got such outrageous responses, I just started ignoring everything from Japan. FYI, in case someone actually does try to buy something from them.
