Hello Mica,
Max here again, I decided to install the switch without the lock washer. My worst nightmare came true when as I was drilling, the top of my bass got chipped. After freaking out a little I put the dress washer on and this covered up the chip. Whewwww!!! After installing it, the switch seemed secure so I don't think I will need the lock washwer. But when I plugged it in, and turned the switch on, paddle to the floor, the switch was actualy off. When I positioned the paddle away from the floor it was on. I rechecked my wiring and that is when I noticed that the switch is wired differently that it shows on the diagram. Lets call the insulated wire on terminal one. On the diagram, the capacitor leg is on terminal two, but on my switch it is on terminal three. Is this OK? If the only difference is that my on/off will be reversed I don't care but if it could ruin the electronics I will want to change it. What do you think?
