Hey Jeff there should be two numbers before the SC either
09 or 10 that relates to 2009 or 2010 build date. The serial
number is from around that time.

Congrats on the bass

So the full number is 10 SC14074 US
And it appears to be on the website which is kinda cool :)

This is a GORGEOUS bass. For those who haven't seen it, I've attached my archive photo.

top: Buckeye Burl
accent: Purpleheart laminate, Maple pinstripe
body: Purpleheart
back: Buckeye Burl
neck: Maple, Purpleheart, and Ebony
scale: 30.75" short
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Black Tahitian mother of pearl
side markers: blue LEDs
backplates: continuous wood
pickups: AXY
controls: "Signature" volume, pan, filter x2, Q-switch x2, mono output
hardware finish: Blackened brass (black nickel oxide)
logo: sterling silver
originally made for: Music Unlimited (now The Monterrey Music Store), CA
birthday: May 13, 2010

I really love the overall look of this bass - the black hardware with the Ebony in the neck and the cool color of the Buckeye is just gorgeous to me.

Thanks Mica, I agree the look is just stunning, from every angle, but the sound is just as unique - powerful and crisp at the same time. I'll never be able to do it justice with my meagre skills but it certainly has a good home...

Hey... "meager skills" turn into awesomeness pretty quickly, so don't worry!!
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.
