Here was another thread on that preamp: http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=425.0

in the current edition of the UK Bass Guitar magazine, in an interview with Victor Wooten he gives reasons why he stopped using his 'Olympic' and moved to fodera.

Probably transcription error on the part of the magazine, don't you think?

I'm pretty sure it will be Harry. The mag has deteriorated significantly over the past few years - I stopped my subscription years ago but picked the latest one up for holiday reading - it hasn't changed at all. Still the same sub-standard reporting and the same old interviews / anti 5-string brigade that turned me off in the first place. One of the questions they asked Victor was along the lines of " How do you relax before a gig - do you take drugs or alcohol? " !
