Thanks for the complementaries.
This bass was presented to me by my wife in the early 2000 after 30 years come back to play again. This also was my first brand new bass I owned with not knowing the brand neither how to choose. I played once the Alembic of my friend but didn't notice, at that time, the different. I like the logo so much while the appearance sparkling me too so my wife got me this bass and I named it as how I always perceive her. Oh, I forgot to complement the dealer that is very friendly too.
Living in Bangkok you don't have much choice of basses to get since the bassist in my country are mostly low profile and could not afford a good bass. Thought the dealers have little choice to offer, I manage to collect lots of them right now including a vintage Spoiler.
That thing you saw on the fret board was not the inlay but a metal cap that I stick (removeable) on the 12 fret to notice when I play especialy in the dim. I am nearly 50 so the side dots is invisible to me at all time unless I ware a reading glasses.
Cheers,
