Hey guys!
I haven't been round for a while and I've just nipped in to tell you of the marvelous reception I received from Susan and Val a couple of weeks ago when I dropped into the Alembic wonderland!!
I only wanted to satisfy my need to walk through the door that so many great players had done before me and I simply wanted to get a couple of photos of the reception and to basically say that I'd been to the factory. I was met by Val who after I introduced myself he promptly gave me the full tour. I met most of the guys down there and saw a lot of your basses in various stages of completion (don't worry, they're nearly finished!). It was funny to think that my bass once lived there and the guys working on the masterpieces had worked on mine!
The friendliness of all I met was unbelievable and strengthens my belief that Alembic really is a great caring company (maybe I caught everyone on a good day *l*)
Thanks again guys I really appreciated the time and effort you spent with me and my dad.........now........where's my cheque book............
