Does this come standard on every Alembic or does one have to ask for this?

Now that all Alembics come standard with high-gloss finish, I guess you have to ask for it.

I believe the Further, at least, comes standard with a satin finish neck.

I didn't specify when I ordered my guitar - it came with a satin finish on the neck. I love it.

Joseph - you still might want to verify with Alembic.

Recent gloss instruments that I have received have had satin necks.

Satin necks are standard now, unless you specifically ask for a glossy finish.
