HAPPY FESTIVUS (for the rest of us)
« on: December 23, 2004, 03:15:52 PM »
This being December 23rd, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Festivus!
Set up those aluminum poles!  Tonight at dinner revel in the traditional airing of the grievances and the feats of strength.  Then send a generous contribution to The Human Fund.  Here's wishing you and yours peace, happinesss, prosperity, and maybe a new Alembic in the coming New Year.

Special thanks to Frank Costanza.

Cables Paul, cables.

Have a great holiday and may Santa bring you a wooden sandwich from Northern California to quench your hunger.  And one for you too, Rami - if you've been a good boy.  (Paul, tbo - we don't even have to ask where you stand on the naughty list).

Twas the night (well morning actually) before Christmas and all through the office not a Pc was stirring  - not even a mouse (ha!).
Hopefully they'll let me go home before dark today so I can get some playing in before my folks turn up and demand we turn off 'that awful racket'.
All the best to you all, have a safe and happy Christmas.

I'd like to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all at Alembic and thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who made my bass dream come true this year.

In addition, I'd like to wish the same to everyone in the Alembic Club; although I've not been able to post much in the latter half of this year for reasons many and varied (something I aim to rectify next year), this truly is the friendliest, most open-minded and supportive forum I've ever had the pleasure to be involved in. Best wishes to you all, and your loved ones, for Christmas and the year to come.

And while I'm at it, let's all pray for peace on earth too....

All the best

Shaun

Sam, good work.  I don't see Shoshone in there, but I'm not complaining.
Ditto, Shaun.  Thanks everyone for the support, Alembic Inc. and the Club.  Good customer service is practically nonexistent these days.  Alembic's is great.  I have had quite a few questions answered and problems resolved by all of you.
I have several more that I'm sure can be answered here.  The extent of the Club's collective knowledge is outstanding.
Thanks,
Rich
