Christmas Tree Ornament
« on: December 08, 2004, 07:29:48 PM »
Any chance of Alembic selling a Christmas tree ornament - maybe just the logo in wood or plastic. I know what you're all thinking...why is Jonathan Levine interested in Christmas trees? What can I say, we always had one while I was growing up and it doesn't seem like the Holiday Season without one.  Besides my Jewish union card was revoked years ago for much worse offenses! Anyway, our tree has ornaments that are personal to each of us and my Alembics are very special to me. Just a thought...don't want to start a revolution.

Likewise, Jonathan - I don't want to make it a big deal.  But it would feel good and I'd find it quite special to have a remembrance of the Alembic part of my life on my tree.
Nice idea.  Happy Holidays!

I would also love to see an ornament from Alembic, especially if it was a bass-shaped one.  I would have bought one last night.
My son's fifth grade teacher told Santa (actually my son dressed up for the school play) that she wanted a new bass, a car, a house, and diamond earrings for Christmas.  As a gag gift we're getting her all those things from Santa.  They're all fakes and miniatures, of course.
For the bass I ended up ebaying a 2 charm of a Fender P-bass.  I would much rather have given her an Alembic.

So, now, a week after Christmas, an Alembic bass guitar pin shows up on e-bay.  Oh, well, she got her bass even if it was a Fender (oops, I said the F-word; sorry).
