Sorry for the confusion, the 356 is not mine, it belongs to the owner of the company.

I drive a Caddy STS with the 300hp Northstar  It's no Z06, but it's a heck of a lot easier to get in and out of!

Roger, that is one great looking car! A 4 liter eh? I'll bet it goes pretty good too.

Rami:

I live an hour away from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, and have made several pilgrimages over the years.  Well worth a look if you're in the area.  It's a block away from the Corvette factory, and you can take their tour weekdays.

The current 'Vette is the most performance you can buy for the money, and is finally on a par with they Europeans.  The ZO6 is really nice, but a guy here in town has a Lingenfelter that will humble F18s.  I always am struck that every few years, the car mags have a 'tuner shootout'.  And at the end it always ONLY the Lingenfelter that is still running perfectly, not a hair out of place.

Chevy, rear wheel drive, big V8, big tires, hard to go wrong with that.  And chicks STILL love Corvettes!

Just replying to Elzie's comment 'I'll bet it goes pretty good too'. Yes, it does. 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds, 0-100mph in 12.1, max 153mph, standing 1/4 mile in 13.5. Quick enough for crowded British roads! It's not the fastest TVR though, not by a long way!!

Just to chime in and beeing in the lucky position to have Porsche as a customer (I am working in the automotive industry in Germany) I will get a 911 bi-turbo convertible as a test car for 4 days to do some measurements with.

Or the toys become TOO expensive!!  ;-)

Come on folks, I've posted my TVR up here, let's see some of you folks motors! Rust buckets or Ferraris, we all know in here it's not a competition like the car forums. If not your 'ride', then maybe perhaps a picture of your home town or something!

Maybe just something to make everyone a little more personal than a logon id is what I'm trying to say...on a voluntary basis of course!

I'll start the ball rolling here - this is a link to a certain building about four miles from me

to thebass, do you need an apprentice for 4 days, then I can swing through England for a ride in Rogers's TVR, then I can track down Rami for a trip through the Corvette museum and maybe a ride in a Z06, then I can come back home and Play my Alembic's, sounds like one of the vacation's of a life time. And going to Santa Rosa too

By the way - if anyone is passing this way, they're more than welcome to either a little trip out in the Chimaera, or a full blown demonstration (or something in the middle) - just ask if you're ever over here folks!

Vehicles.  My first thought when looking at vehicles is always will it haul my stage rig.

This is an interesting thread.  I think it is a good idea, but if we are taking picutres of cars or buildings, put an Alembic in the shot.

Yes Dave, my small stage rig really fits in there!

Dela, Bro you are stylin' to the show.

I'd return the favor, but I think like Dave. My ride is a Mercury Sable Wagon with gear covered with a tarp.
