Rogue electronics problem
« on: May 15, 2005, 05:52:02 PM »
I have a 1998 Custom Rogue with, what I've been told are Epic/Europa electronics package.  Everytime I play at one particular place on the east Coast, I pick up a local radio station. I thought it might be the UHF wireless transmitter and plug in direct...with the same problem.   I switch to my G&L and have no interference.  So I thought I'd turn to the club and seek any suggestions or solutions.
Thanks,
Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Open your control cavity and check for the ferrite bead (a grey cylinder that the pickup wires pass through before connecting to the preamp board). The bead is available from Alembic if you don't have one, and will cut RFI significantly.
