It is currently at $620.69 and it says the reserve is met. Looks like it's going to go low. There have been a few older set neck Alembics and Spoilers and Persuaders lately going for under $1,000 - some for substantially less.
Nonetheless, I can't help noticing the seller is a newbie with no feedback history. His description sounds like it was written by one who knows basses. Hard to say what to make of it.
The bass itself is cosmetically nice. The vermillion has aged to a deep red on the body and peghead. The rest looks OK from the pictures. If the bass is in good shape, it may make someone a great acquistion.
