Mica

I suggest we name the contributor levels after various grades of wood. We can all aspire to be burled coco bolo contributors.

Guys ...you make me feel very bad. What can I say? I'm over 1000 so must be nearly dead. I don't feel very important, anluy a big white one big a big mouth and not always having something senseful to say. I didn't lived though the Yahoo period -yeah ...I missed al that fun- but have 1000. I know some people here who are the most silent people I ever know but as soon as they open there mouth it is printing time.
I suggest we forget about the postnumbers. I don't know what it serves. We all proved as Alembic-players to be open minded, eager to learn, and respectfull against every opinion. See for yourself: our beloved moders Val en Mica are complete out of work modering: Val isa testing basses in the company Mica is running. LOL

Paul the bad one

PS: let's ask the Elf department in this club to give us names. Nobody will understand a damn.

Why do we need degrees? Why not just post the number of postings with the registration date. After 5 year, 100 postings is no longer Regular.

Another good idea might be to add a first name next to the login. Other than that, let's keep this forum simple and graceful, not loaded with icons and emoticons and who-knows-what-else.

I like David's idea about wood names.  Veterans like P(TBO) could have quilted cocobolo status.  Or we could have something like:

Excel
Essence
Rogue
Europa
Series I
Series II

Let us not forget; Skylark, Further,Tribute, etc....I know the strings are tiny but they have a mighty voice.
Joking aside, I like the idea of categorizing by instrument or wood names.
