What ever happened to those two jazz bass styled basses, headed overseas?

The last time I saw them, they were in the back of an SUV headed for the airport to get loaded on plane to England.

I think it would be a good idea for alemibc to add the jazz-lembics to it's line up,those basses would be killers in sales!.

I think that as beautiful as they are, Alembics with Fender style bodies takes away from the exotic and exclusive nature of Alembics.  It's like Rolls Royce coming out with an SUV or a Station wagon.  It may be superior in quality, but mainstream in looks.

Alembics (I hope) should stay Alembics with the original designs of Susan.

Unfortunately, though I like them too, I believe Rami's right.  The thought that ocurred to me was that sooooo...many makers have adapted the J bass shape.

It would be very frustrating to have a conversation that begins:  Cool Genesis, man!  and deteriorates as you explain it's an Alembic and hear the reply:  Yeah, right.  I'm holdin' out for the Modulus, cause nobody does it better!!**  Ugh!

**(Not intended to knock Modulus or Modulus players.)

There aint nothing wrong with an alembic jazz on the market , it is still an alembic bass.
