I have the opposite problem. I want to sell all the basses I'm not using....and all the back up gear that falls into the haven't used in a year catagory. I'm feeling Zen and feeling less is lighter/better in the long run. My focus feels like that of a simple magnifing glass on a bright sunny day.

Anybody need real old series four stringers?

David:  You clearly came to the right place.  What goodies are on top of your, not getting enough use pile?

Hi Bill: I have three early representitives of series I. These three have serial numbers below 90. I also have a graphite neck series I with Mandolin frets and a fretless made by Woody Phifer at Guitar Lab in 1973 (He made two of these. The other one is owned by Alfonso Johnson). It has the P/J Alembic electronics and was formally owned by Tony Levin (and is unusually light: 7.5 lbs.).  All instruments are 4 string & 34 scale.

Then I have many tube amps....and eden cabinets....Rack gear. Any of this sound interesting?

Perhaps I should post this in the 'swap and shop'  section.   ~David

Hi David:  I'd love to hear more about the graphite neck S1 and the eden cabs (or other cabs if you have em).  Could you send me an Email (bsterling@ameritech.net) with the specs any pix you happen to have (particularly of the S1) and some idea what you are looking for for each item?  Thanks Bill
