You guy's should have an Alembic club meeting.Don't know anybody around here in Indy who plays Alembic basses although I'm sure that there are.I would love the oportunity to play a variety of Alembic basses and compare they're different sounds someday.

Jeez, I live about an hour from Lowell.  I guess that makes me an outsider.  I doubt I have the talent you guys do, but that won't stop me from joining in if I can.

Dave,
I'm in Terre Haute and try to make it to Indy every couple of months or so.  I'll drop you a note when I know I'll be up there (I was just there Saturday).  I've got an old Series I cocobolo 4-string...

Absolutely!!!!!

We should have an ANEC meeting.  I know we've talked about it but how do we make it a real thing.  I guess the first thing we need is a venue.  OKAY!!!!  My place!!!! DONE!!!!  Now how about a date and time.  OKAY!!!!  Any weeknight or how about even a Saturday Day and if it's nice out, we can have it outside.  Heck I'll even barbeque!!!!  Okay!!!! Who's coming????
Brother Paul, you are more than welcome stay overnight, I know the commute is a long one!!!!
Ray, I'd be surprised if we didn't run into one another at one point.  I'm always gigging around the Lowell area too.  Plus I live right around the corner from the Pawtucketville Social Club.  You guys play the benefit they put on every year.
Let's talk soon

Peace,
Dino

Im all for an ANEC meeting, but first I need my Alembic built..... I have a feeling it's gonna be a little chilly for a bbq by the time it's completed.

Dave,
Will do.  Right now I'm between bands, so to speak, and don't know how long it will be before I'm gigging again.  It seems people either want to play out every weekend or only twice a year, and my preference is to play out a couple of times a month.  That issue coupled with a decided lack of venues in this neck of the woods make finding a comfortable situation difficult.  At least my favorite drummer and I are of the same mind, so we are inclined to come as a package deal in most instances.  We also jam with folks a fair amount and do some recording to keep the chops from totally disintegrating in the off season.  ;)  I'll shoot you an email when I think I'll be in Indy and we can hook up.
John
