Just a heads up (literally). Tonight (well, Thursday morning early) the Perseids meteor shower will be at its prime?.. It?s a pretty good light show. I highly recommend it.....

With the thunder rolling from cloud to cloud right now in the N.E., I wonder if the sky will clear on time. If anything, it looks like we may be in for a really sweet electrical storm tonight

Clear skies and warm temperatures tonight in the Puget Sound of the Pacific Northwest?. A very rare combination in this neck of the woods. I wonder, are there any of our group looking up on the other side of Earth right....about...now?

Spent saturday night outside watching from near edinburgh. Saw four or five between 23:30 an 00:30 BST. Managed to get mrs j to come out and watch too. She got really excited when she saw a huge one - but not that excited ;-)
