Monday night Valentino got word that his mother passed away. He immediately arranged to return home to Italy and he'll be there for about three weeks.
If you want to send a personal message to him, please write to valvil_at_aol_dot_com. For the time being his alembic email is being forwarded to Susan.

Losing a loved one is a horrible thing. Losing a parent is even worse...
I emailed Valentino this morning offering my condolences. There are no words that can be said to ease the pain but just knowing that you've got friends and loved ones all around can help the healing process.
Peace,
Dino

So sad to hear about this.
Loosing your mother is hard and I am grateful that mine is still around.
I will send a mail to Val to offer him my condolensces.

Hi Val,
I would like to offer my condolences to you and your family in this sad time. Losing my son and my mother...I can imagine some of the emotions you are dealing with. This is definitely a time to be with your family and friends so you can mourn together...but also to celebrate the life of the lost loved one.

Val,
I believe we are reunited with our loved ones after this life. I'm looking forward to communicating with my mother, and I'm sure you'll have the chance to be with your mother again in the future. She's still watching over you.

My sincerest condolences as well.
Sadly, I know that pain too. You can only learn to live with it and move on with your life. The comfort you find will be in the knowledge that she's resting, and in the support of your family and friends.
