I'm back
« on: October 08, 2004, 12:54:19 PM »
Actually I've never been really here...but...ok.

I had an Epic for about an hour. I bought it and somebody crashed into my car and the Alembic was gone (the car as well...).

Now I got a new car and I just bought an Essence!

I just wanted to thank some guys from the club who helped me (they know who I mean). Thanks very much!

When I get the bass I will post some pictures (with car!)!

Have a nice weekend Alembicicans!

Hendrik (the lucky one ) (sorry but I had to)

sorry but I had to - was that for the smiley? I hate those little buggers... :-)

It's been well over an hour by now, so hope you're having more fun than last time, and welcome 'back'.

Thanks!

The sorry was for PTBO because it's his signature and I just had to...

Sam: I really hope that as well. I got it this time with a hard shell case...
I'm still luthering (dunno if that's a word btw) and I just finished a bass. I made some very nice knobs for this one (flamed walnut/maple)

No sorry needed!
Nice knobs by the way.
Give a yell when we can see more of that project. Or are you trying out a kind of bass-strip-tease???
Mmmmmm ...I'm getting ideas again!

Ok Paul. No striptease tonight...sorry.

The top is actually flamed walnut. It's the German or better said European (I think...) style of walnut. It's grey and totally different from the American walnut.
