Hello Friends ,

I'm actually looking for a chorus pedal . I know Ebs , Tc Electronics , Boss...etc... Following your experience , which is the best one ?

I own a TC Electronics model . It was the one that Mark Egan was using at the time that I took a few clincs with him in the early 1990's.I have heard several others and really like the TC best. It is a chorus , flanger, and pitch modulator. it is a good sounding unit but you can ruin any effect such as this if not used tastefully! I actually do not use it that much but it is there for me if i need it.

i have the Boss CEB-3 and love it!!!!!! it only took me about 5 minutes to find a sound that i was in love wiht(granted the unlimited possibilities) i'm not sure about any other pedal companys, but i only buy Boss compact pedals(Zoom POD, and a Dunlop Crybaby Bass Wah are the only things on my board that aren't Boss, extremely reliable and great quality(it's believed that Boss's customer support is a mere myth as no one has ever needed to contact them)

I like different things about different pedals. Many of them color up your tone a bit too much. I use the EBS mostly these days. You can go inside it and tweek the tone. I 2nd about the CEB-3 as well. I dig the EBS for it's transparency. Sometimes that's a bad thing for some situations.

+1 for the TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flange. I have tried the EBS and Roland units. The TC has a more liquid quality.

I have two TC Electronic Chorus Flange pedals, but I truly prefer the Scholz Rockman Chorus circuit. Still The TC's are great in the field for those who do not want to use the half rack space Rockman products.

I use an early 80's MXR Stereo Chorus. It is a little dated but works well for me. An added plus is it doesn't use batteries but plugs straight into the wall.

For years I wanted the TC pedal. The one thing holding me back. It requires AC. Which is no big deal in a pedalboard, but nothing I can throw in my bag and just put in my signal path. Let us know what you decide on!

Hello Friends ,

I've tried the EBS chorus which sounds really nice ! On the other hand , it was impossible to give a try to the TC one just because the stores i called didn't have it !!! ( only on order ) ...too bad !!! I looked on the TC website and other reviews and in fact , most of the musicians who are using this pedal are Guitar players , not bassists... will it really work that good for a bass ?

I use the Boss MB 50B bass effects unit(which I have just bought)
The chorus is really subtle BUT it is multi efects and you only require a single effect so I agree with Tmoney, get the Boss one as it is the same one in the MB50 I use and it will be specifically for bass.

Another Vote for the EBS multichorus from me. I've never used any other chorus pedals so can't comment on any differences but the EBS gives me exactly what I want and is very easy to adjust so i'll not be changing any time soon.

(Sigh) I use my good ole' 1973 MU-TRON Phasor. I bought it brand new back then. Sometimes I'll hook up my 1972 MU-TRON up to the Phasor too! I bought that brand new too because of Herbie Hancock's tune Camelion (sp)

Another vote for the t.c. chorus.
I have an old model. Still working great and best chorus sound.
