On the sincerest note:  We have shown over time to be a good group of people.  The best to us all for what has been and what might be.

Amen to that,Sam and Bill,

I'd been checking out the Alembic Club for over a year before registering and I loved the bizarre and often hilarious left turns a particular thread could take. The page with the cat pics is a classic example.

Less than 1 month on from registering and my suggestion about cleaning strings in a dishwasher has been seized upon and has triggered opinions on,of all things, methods of cooking a Salmon!.Fantastic!.I feel truly accepted!.

I'd like to wish all of you,and your loved ones,a very Happy Christmas, and good luck and good health in the year to come.

2005 has been a year I'll never forget.Sadly not for the right reasons and I'll be glad of a new year.Being part of this forum has helped lift my spirits more than I could explain and for that I'm grateful to you all.

       God Bless,

       Take Care,

       Keep Playing,

       Miss you,Ma!.

       Thanks Guys,

       Simon.

I'll mirror what Simon and Joey said.  This is a great club to be in, lots of humor, great knowledge and insight about basses and gear, and a truly respectful family of great people.
I would like to acknowledge this year's addition of Dave Houck as a moderator.  Dave, you've always added a lot to the topics posted here.  The additional things you've done for the club this year are greatly appreciated.  You have done a lot to organize the club threads so that it is easier to find the topics that interest us.  That way we can more quickly get back to making music with our Alembics.
Happy Holidays to you all.

No, my holidays were a bit different this year, but I'm hoping a KLR will fit in my Easter Basket!

Incidentally, I saw a 'drag' race between a KLR and a GS BMW on a dirt road, and there really is no substitute for cubic inches:  The big BMW got sideways real quick and threw the guy over the tank, squashing one of his aluminum panniers when it went over on that side.  The KLR guy turned around and came back and it was all the two of them could do to stand The Bismarck back up on two wheels !

I would also like to wish a great holiday season to you all.
Thanks for sticking with us and for making this a really cool club.
I'd like to add my deep thanks to Dave, who' s not just a great moderator, but the BEST moderator around, on this site or any other I've been to.
And to all of you who tried to drive me crazy this year...nice try, but I was already there.

Cheers
