Would you guys send this out to as many musicians as you know, below is
going to turn up somewhere.

Sad, stolen from Yonrico's house, trailer sitting in his front yard
Derek Trucks Band Equipment Stolen.... Emergency - Please Help

The Derek Trucks Band's equipment trailer was stolen last night in Atlanta. I need to purchase the following equipment ASAP. Anyone who is willing to sell any of this gear, please call me at 303-778-1156.

1) Two blackface Super Reverbs, 1965 preferred,
1964 through 1967 acceptable. Must have
original transformers; everything else will be
tweaked by me to Derek's spec. Speakers
not important - keep 'em if you like. As long
as the cabinet and baffle board aren't busted,
I don't give a **** what it looks like.

2) One 1974 or earlier Ampeg SVT head. Must
have original trannies. Looks not important
Not looking for the oldest production with the
6146B output tubes, please.

lookout for the stolen gear. A list of serial
numbers will be posted as soon as I receive it.

It says Atlanta above - but it's not real specific.

The DTB website does say everything was insured so no worries there.  Some of the gear is irreplaceble due to uniqueness.  It only mentions Atlanta as well and that covers a lot of ground.
Bill, I make it a point not to be anywhere near Atlanta as much as possible.  That and Orlando, fine cities just way to congested for me.

A shame.  I was just reading about some of that same gear in this month's Guitar Player (Derek is the cover and featured interview).

Me too, Bill. I really enjoyed the article. I had no idea that he was married to Susan Tedeschi. I'm not too familiar with her stuff, but may download a couple songs from the Apple Store.

I highly recommend DTBs latest CD, Songlines. Probably his best work to date. I really like the Live release he put out a couple of years ago too. Derek and the band seem to be firing on all cylinders with the new release. It's very soulful for a rather young guitar player.

DTB has over 450 concert recordings on the archive too - not too many SBDs after about 2002 but some nice stuff.
