Expecting a fix now is probably asking too much of this short-sighted politician type person who has no incentive to do so. A fix or at least a succession of patches, will probaly come when and if the problem ever becomes more pressing.

I am leaving now and will never bother you fine folks again. See how nice I can be. Its just the duality of nature I guess. bye bye
