Was listening to 78-12-12 earlier this summer, and encountered an excellent Franklin's Tower. Phil's in great form, not over the top, but just burbling along underneath. Around the 8:00 minute point during a quiet period just before the final verse, he does a nice bit of understated tasteful lead. You can't download it anymore, but a stream can be heard here:
