Wow, He played my high school back in the late '80's. He had a wireless and walked into the crowd to play and shake hands. He was incredibly loud to the point of making me cover my ears! that's gettin' down man! R.I.P Maynard and God bless.

Just heard a wild multi-song tribute to Maynard on our local NPR station's Tuesday night Jazz show. Wow! What chops!
