And another sad one in the news this week. A bearded, well-rounded fellow was visiting Disney World but was warned not to continue impersonating Santa, as he was supposed to be violating a Disney trademark.

What did the poor fellow do? When asked by children if he was Santa, he would give them a jolly ho-ho-ho, and walk on.

A Disney trademark? I thought it was Coca Cola that trademarked Santa back in the 1930's or 40's.

Disney may have registered Santa for use in an amusement park. Plenty of specifics to be dealt with when registering trademarks ...

Hey, read this regarding the trademarking of Santa Claus...interesting.

But Public Domain cannot be trademarked.  I remember reading an article in the Chicago Tribune years ago where someone had attempted to trademark the song Happy Birthday.
The only thing that stays the same is change.

iirc, Happy Birthday is a copyrighted work and not in the public domain.

On Moishe!, On Schlomo!

Bringing toys to all the good Jewish girls and boys!
Don't forget to leave out a big bowl of knaydelach soup.  (That's matza ball soup for the yiddish impaired).

And remember, only 3 shopping days until Festivus!  Get your greivances ready for airing and put up that aluminum poll.  I LOVE the holidaze!

I saw the a guy at Disney World three weeks ago who looked and was dressed like Santa. ... Well Santa in red shirts. I THOUGHT he was a cast member until I realized he was a guest. Frankly I'm surprised Disney gave him crap. Since when do they give a hard time to a park guest? Plus he wasn't doing anything wrong!! ........... Hey one thing I was SHOCKED to see at Disney World on this vacation. A girl ... probably 15 or so walking in her tight hide nothing UNDER PANTS!!! You could see her ... ammm personality! She was in the Animal Kingdom and was coming from the direction of the raft water ride. I'm assuming she got drinched and took off her pants. When the wife and I stopped to get a soda the cast member at the soda stand was on his walkie-talkie reporting the girl to park security. We confirmed we saw her too. I don't mind Santa in the park but an almost bottomless teen girl is not what you expect in a family park! PLUS I felt like a pervery for innocently seeing her! Way too old for underpants in public ... way too young for legal!

No telling what was happening at the raft water ride.
