Yes you are george. You should be drinking a nice Islay malt like Laphroag.
Interestingly, on a climbing trip a couple of winters back we met a group on the Bauchaille etive Mor celebrating their final Munro with a bottle of Jamesons! Sacrilege!!!

Must confess!
I DO prefer the old Islay malts for that unique peaty flavour.
A 16 year old Laphroaig is pure nectar, as is Lagavulin.

Waiting for the stop sign to turn green is a sign of impairment, but not generally associated with alcohol.
