I assume most have heard already about Brad Delps untimely death.
Arguably one of the best male voices in contemporary music and you need not be a Boston fan to appreciate the talent Brad possessed.

It?s ironic too that I was talking Thursday with a friend of mine about our favorite male vocalist and the top two that came up were, Brad Delp and Paul Rogers.

RIP Brad you will be missed.

A fantastic voice of power and clarity. I will miss him, and say a prayer.

That's too bad. He has been going around New England with his Beatles tribute band Beatle Juice. I am almost certain they had gigs on the books for the not too distant future. I caught them a few years ago in a town hall near my home and they were tremendous. He will be missed.

Here's photo of my youngest daughter with Brad at a show with Boston in San Antonio I believe.

What a terrible waste. I was priveledged to see him with Boston three times in '03-'04. That tremendous voice was still there. Apparently, he must have had a hell of a reason to take his own life at only 55 when he a had a loving family and fiancee to leave behind.

Godspeed, Brad! You will be missed.

Cheers,

Kevin

FWIW, Scholz posted a decent memorial to brad on his site:

Suicide?  I am stunned to say the least.  Rest ye well Brad, you will be missed forever, and remembered with every Boston song ever played.
The only thing that stays the same is change.

I too was stunned to learn it was suicide. Even more stunning was the method. Two charcoal grills in the bathroom?
