And he's also Jane Asher's brother (Paul McCartney's girlfriend in the old days).  Paul wrote World Without Love for P&G.

I NEVER knew PMcC wrote 'World Without Love' !  Didn't he write 'Ferry' as well?  Is Mr. Bill related to Yoko (oooohhhh-nnnnoooooooo ! ! ! !)? If George Martin was the fifth Beatle and Ian Stewart was the sixth Rolling Stone, who was the 6th Dave Clark Five?  Was he just an inverse fraction?  Did Brain Setzer replace Toonces the Cat in the Stray Cats?  If I had one, there'd be a Hat in the Cat, believe me.

Hey, is that damn coffee ready YET?  NO, I don't want any birthday cake with it.

Soppy as it is I don't think Macca wrote Ferry Across the Mersey, though he composed Mull of Kintyre...

Like World without Love....L/Mc also composed 'Bad to me'....It was a mystery to me why they gave that and world without love away and  recorded and released what they called 'work songs' - album fillers.

Bringing this thread back to Zombies. ...whilst Peter and Gordon's Peter Asher was a successful Producer and Jane is still on British TV .....

Zombies' guitarist  Paul Atkinson (deceased) was a successful A& R person... who handled amongst other things...ABBA.

BTW, Argent also wrote God Gave rock and Roll to you, often miscredited to KISS

Joey, you should give Cuban coffee a try.  It's wonderful stuff.

I turned to this show last night and finally caught the Zombies part.  The last few times I tried to watch it Peter and Gordon were on.  I don't stay with it long because the fund drive people in between get on my nerves.

Joey:

Toonces?  Mr. Bill?  I smells me another old SNL fan!  By the way, I always thought the sixth Stone was Billy Preston, and didn't Murray the K claim the 5th Beatle position?

Community Coffee, 'Between Roast', from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where nobody gives a rat's ass about StarBucks.  Loozeeanna coffee, next best thing to Cuban coffee, unfortunately mighty scarce here in Music City (HA!, they tell themselves Austin doesn't exist) USA.

Despite Murray's career, I DON'T mix civilians and musicians.  I'm off to consume mass quantities, after I turn Mr. Coffee up to 11.
