Alembic Goodies in the Mail
« on: May 25, 2007, 12:43:33 AM »
Aloha all, I am stoked!!! I got some things I had ordered from the Alembic web store.  I got my nifty new black hat with a nice white stiched logo, a super duper tee shirt witha color logo on it, also a bottle of polish, and a little box of plate screws.  I am one happy camper!!!
Ken.

I didn't see a jacket, but it is probably big bucks!  But a coffee mug sounds good as I am addicted to coffee, I order my Peets coffee from San francisco every month since the mid 80's.
I have an idea, how about we form a secret santa for this coming Christmas, each person has a maximum amount to spend, say 35 bucks, and it could be fun and a great way to share at Christmas.  What do you think?

The jacket is definately the thing to have.  However, I don't suppose you could wear it often over on the Island.

Actually the jacket is just downright awesome.  It gets lots of questions from the people that see the artwork on it.

Except the jacket in question isn't available-- so you'd have to buy a used one.

Yeah, I ordered a black polo shirt with the Alembic logo, leather strap, polish, and a shammy... or however it's spelled... (chamois?)...? a while back... sort of to contribute to their time/effort for getting me a replacement quote for my 8-string for insurance purposes... but it was nice and exciting to get the package of goodies!!!

Somehow, getting any package from Alembic just seems inherently exciting!!!

The jackets are secretly available. Once every year or two I order a small batch. They aren't cheap! Last year they were $445. I'll get an updated quote for those interested in this year's run. When I know the price, I'll post in the announcement area.

Wool jacket, leather sleeves and trim, full color embroidered logo on back and personalization on left front.

A few years ago my grandpa and his best friend were at a mini golf course with their Alembic jackets on. They were asked to leave - the staff thought they were in a gang!

I ordered a T-shirt right after they were offered for sale on the website.  I got a few emails responding to my inquiries but never got the shirt.  I blew it off rather than being a whiny boy about something little.  I would rather the Alembic folks put their attention into guitars and basses than shirts but I was a bit disappointed.

You can count on my order for a jacket Mica. After all I am part of the gang. (At least I hope I am).

We tried, Rich. Since you're telling me about it now, do send me an email with the details that were missed and we'll make it right for you.

Well, it wasn't the mail, but a big brown truck dropped off a 5 string fretless Excel at my place today. The neck on this thing is absolutely blowing me away.

Thanks again Alembic! Have a great Memorial Day weekend, everybody!

I  would love to get a jacket like that.  Let me know when and how much, and I will see what I can do.  I tried the supreme polish today, it really works well.  I love my hat and my new tee shirt too!!!
