Fake Alembic Alert ? must be!

Caught this one at Ishibashi music in Japan, looking at what they had in stock, the knobs/ Logo look correct but BOLT ON!!!! oh my.

This one is real, I do believe.  Alembic made a deal with a Japanese manufacturer.  I believe Alembic supplied the electronics and logo and the Japanese company did the rest.  They've been discussed around here before.  I'm sure someone will jump in who knows more about these than I do.

oh man ... I have not seen these before cant believe I missed that. wonder how many of these there are out there... this could be a pretty rare find then....maybe?

I only see a 10HE SKB case...  
but it's like Tom says. The distributer in Japan wanted to keep Alembic alive and got the electronics and logo to put them on their basses due to limited availibility of the real thing
