What might be nice wishing: an iphone that will turn into a wireless transmitter for your bass and a wireless IEM, and Alemic powerpack at the same time........you'd have to buy the corresponding receiver to feed your bass amp, and the transmitter for the IEM - and that would be the size of a phone too.

I just returned from the UK and as usual there were loads of people walking around with a Blackberry in hand - corporate types, usually. It's a portable e-mail device. You might mistake it for a cell phone.

My Manager has a Blackberry. He thinks he's cool, we don't. He even goes as far as appending 'sent from my blackberry' to his emails as if we're going to be impressed ;-)

You're visiting the Club while he's looking over your shoulder?

The sent from my blackberry message is the default, and just means that your Manager isn't witty enough to put something better there.

Blackberries are small enough to fit in a fanny pack.

Or, to give the benefit of doubt, has better things to do than worry about the Blackberry tag line...

Bradley's reply sounds more like my manager. He's on holiday right now so I can say what I really think ;-)

I now know what a blackberry is as I saw them in the display case of the phone shop.
I noticed another language difference from byoung there... a fanny is something entirely different anatomically in the UK which only refers to the female gender.
We call them bum bags
