Wow, that was great! The Ox was REALLY tearing it up on his Alembic!

I would love to know what kind of amp he was playing through. My Traynor Bassmasters approach that kind of distortion, but not quite the same. I love that tone. Sounds like maybe the output of the bass was cranked and overloading the amp right at the input. I love that tone.
