Went to the chirop[ractor. A bit of motor nerve damage but hey, who of us doesn't have a bit of that. Neck, thorasic region and lumbar. Lumbar from existing condition. But I'm feeling okay a bit sore in the neck. You guys were right about the wait period. Crept upon me this afternoon. No hemi for me thanks. Ilike looking fast rather than going fast. I'm renting a Magnum now and I'm a lika dat very much. Got a gig Sunday so we'll see how much headbanging I can achieve. Thanks again for your kind thoughts.

Danno-

Not to scare you, but it's usually 2-3 days after when the soreness really sets in. You're probably just beginning to experience the aches.

Take it easy- look after you neck and back.

Danno, I feel for you man, accidents suck. Hopefully the soreness/pain will subside as quickly as it set in.

It'll be two years in Febuary since I was hit head on. Like everyone else here says~ it took a couple of days to set in, but when it did.... WHOA.... The pain still hasn't subsided, despite seeing two orthopedic surgeons, a neurosurgeon and a chiropractor (hate to say it but chrio probably made it worse). They have all told me that I'm just going to have to live with it.

Unfortunately, I can only make it thru a set or so before I have to play the rest of the gig sitting down. That ash/vermillion SI up at Bass NW looks better & better every day!

What a drag, Mike, I'm sorry to hear it. And Danno, I'm really glad that you're apparently ok, wish you the best, hopefully there will be no delayed whiplash.

I got it for my wife a couple of years ago to help her deal with fibromyalgia pain. It works. And I have heard testimonials from people involved in car crashes. They say it works too.

I'm very sorry to hear about your accident. As per several of the posts above,various bodily repercussions may occur over time, but...that doesn't necessarily mean they will, or at least not all of them. Each case is a little different. You obviously have a positive mental outlook/attitude, and while that won't prevent you from feeling at least some aches and pains, it is more important than it might first appear in dealing with them.

Take it one day at a time and hang in there! Best wishes for a full and rapid recovery--

Quite an adventure!
I've been there too you know.
The 8th of february of this year during the heavy storms (oh well ...what WE call heavy storm ovehee) a sudden windforce pushed my car aside when taking curve from the highway to enter Ghent. My car went completely steerless and I ricoched over the highway bend, banging into concrete sideblocks. On that moment a huge hauler came onto me fron my left side and ...I couldn't control anything. I bumped with teh nose of my car under the semltrailer, the back wheels of that semitrailer kinda bumped over the hood of the car, I was -as a pool-bal- bumped again tolling round over the highway, bumped with the back of the car against the railing of the bridge over the river to come to stop A whole lot of meters further upon the road.
I couldn't move.
I didn't had A SCRATCH, nothing no whip or no lash, no bumps ...nothing. The car was a complete wreck with no recognisable front an no back.
I had no fysical damage but the psychological stress was high. Long time after the crash ...even sometimes now at night ...I have those nightmare of that big 30 tonnes truck coming in at me.
Scary ...VERY scary!
But hey Danno ...I am still here ...so are you!!

Your angel is bigger than mine! Perhaps meditation can help with the stress. My event was on a much smaller scale than yours but I'm still a bit skittish and extra careful. Glad you are intact and still playing what you love.
