Hallo. At first I would like to apollogise for my english. I have an Alembic Europa 1991 model.I would like to ask something for the volume. I have to put it on the 2/4 to starting to hear something for the amp. I have an Ampeg SVT 4 pro running through an Ampeg SVT 410 HE cabinet. The battery is only 2 months with 30 hours of playing. Does anyone have the same prblem or knows anything about?

Are you talking about the Gain or the Master on the SVT? A gain setting of 2 or 4 seems pretty low. Also try changing the -15dB switch.
Did you try with other basses?
If the output of the Alembic is really too low, please follow
these instructions
from the FAQ section here at the club.

I usually have the volume (nearly) open on the bass. As a stay-at-home virtuoso, I have the preamp gain on my small SWR combo at about 7, and the master volume at about 1.
Not sure what you mean by 2/4 - on a scale of 1 to 10, 2-4 is pretty low.

Are you aware that some Alembic basses have trim pots hidden at control cavity that control PU's gain? They may be fully closed...

Discussion of the trim pots is in the link Adriaan cited. I agree with Mario and Adriaan, you probably need to adjust the trim pots.
